We would love to see your before and after photos, and with your permission if we publish the photos we will send you a FREE 50gram jar of Pure Microdermabrasion AND a free 50gram jar of Pure Moisturiser!
PATCH TEST
It is recommended to do a patch test first on your wrist and wait 24 hours to ensure that you do not have any reaction to the ingredients, this is very unusual but a tiny percentage of people are sensitive to essential oils.
Wash your inside wrist, apply a small amount of Pure Microdermabrasion cream to your washed wrist area, then follow the instructions below.
| PURE MICRODERMABRASION INSTRUCTIONS FOR TREATING THE FACE |
Recommended use: 3 times per week as a facial Microdermabrasion Treatment (evenings), and every morning to Exfoliate
Recommended use for facial scars and pigmentation: every evening as a Microdermabrasion Treatment
Recommended use for skin prone to break-outs (pimple-prone skin): 3 times per week as a Microdermabrasion Treatment (evenings), and every morning to Exfoliate. Experiment to find the right number of Microdermabrasion Treatments per week to suit your unique skin.
MICRODERMABRASION TREATMENT (FACIAL)
For dramatic results treat your face in sections, working on the lower face (cheeks, nose and chin) first. Next gently around the eye area, and lastly the forehead
Wash the face with a Beautique Professional Cleanser. Pat the face with a towel, removing ONLY the excess moisture, and keeping the face moist as the Pure Microdermabrasion needs to be applied to clean moist skin. Take enough of the Pure Microdermabrasion cream to generously cover your thumbnail, and dot on both cheeks, nose and chin
Using your finger-tips gently massage (in tiny circles) the first cream dot into your skin until the cream has been absorbed. This will take about 2-5 minutes for each region if you microdermabrade your chin, nose and cheeks one by one (recommended for break-out prone areas, blackheads, whiteheads, pigmentation, and areas with lines/wrinkles or scars). It will look like the cream has completely disappeared, and will feel dry.
At this point you may think you are finished but keep massaging gently and slowly until the cream starts to ball up into peels and is flaking from your face (see photo below where the flaking has occurred). Keep massaging until the “flaking” process has stopped
Continue this procedure for each area, until you have done your entire lower face - chin, both cheeks, and your nose
Next moisten the skin around your eyes and add a tiny dot of cream underneath both eyes, avoid getting any in your eyes (if you do flush with tepid water immediately).
Repeat the same microdermabrasion process again, gently using your ring fingers around the delicate eye area, and please avoid microdermabrading the eye-lids
Finally repeat the microdermabrasion process on your forehead. You may notice the flaking is less profound around the eye and forehead areas.
Rinse off with tepid water to close the pores, and pat dry with a towel. Your skin may be a little rosy; this is normal and will soon pass.
We advise following your treatment with Beautique Professional AHA Toner, the Ultimate Serum and one of our Beautique moisturisers. Only Beautique products are designed to work in harmony with the Pure Microdermabrasion. After microdermabrading apply the AHA Toner with a cotton wool pad or ball, then apply the Ultimate Serum with your fingertips. Follow with a Beautique moisturiser to suit your skin type.
DAILY MORNING EXFOLIATE (FACE)
Also use the products each morning to exfoliate. This will optimise the result you will achieve.
Wash your face with a Beautique cleanser and rinse. Apply a little of the Pure Microdermabrasion cream, massage the face for 30 seconds, then rinse and pat dry.
Follow with AHA Toner, Ultimate Serum and a Beautique moisturiser.
For break-out affected areas to really help your skin to clear - use the Pure Black anti-bacterial cleanser, rinse, leaving the face wet. Apply a little of the Pure Microdermabrasion to the face, and massage gently for 30 seconds. Rinse, pat dry, apply AHA Toner, and follow with the Ultimate Serum and a Beautique moisturiser.
NO FLAKING?
Practice on your inside wrist, so you learn how moist your skin should be and how much cream to use, as your skin type is unique to you. If the skin is too wet, it can dilute the product and prolong the activation time, if it’s too dry the crystals won’t activate.
Remember as long as you massage gently, you cannot damage the skin, because once the crystals are full, the microdermabrasion process will stop. The crystals will become saturated with dead skin cells and soften - so feel free to experiment!
The most common “no flaking” reason is having too much moisture and not enough cream, or adding water during the massage stage of the full microdermabrasion treatment.
And the opposite is also true - if your skin feels dry and the product feels rough, it may be that your skin is not moist enough for the flaking to occur, so next time have the skin a little more moist to achieve this.
Keep trying; it is worthwhile to personally perfect this process for you.
